So if there are differences that could occur like a  possible replayed or extended  sports fixture changing a schedule at short notice. The Listen magazine can  print a duel listing.

The BBC ( for example ) however often change things at the last minute to drop in a NEWS 24 item . ( The BBC spends a small fortune advertising FREEVIEW so that people wanting complete NEWS coverage can access such items ,When they see fit)  

Sometimes programmes are dropped when a disaster occurs ,Like a plane crash ,So films or documentaries on a similar theme are dropped. ( There was a documentary programme that was due to be shown on Channel 5 , About the findings of a Rail Crash that occurred , Put  because a similar event happened the programme was dropped, This only seems to occur when a large amount of people are involved , People are subject to allsorts or crime and accidents but it does not stop films with muggings ,rape or theft ) .

How could the programme have any chance of getting higher views ratings if it pulls the plug so early ...Image if the BBC had done that with Only Fools And Horses ?

GMTV are a classic example of hypocrisy . ( They show an article on road safety ,then show a promotional clip for a Caroline Quentin cop show with her driving ,while using a mobile-phone ,Then a children's healthy eating slot followed by three celebrities launching a fizzy pop brand  , 

Kate Garraway is caught on film smoking in a vehicle while heavily pregnant .

The BBC also fails to mention that the cheap boxes quite often don't have the top up TV channel card slot .

The BBC also fails to mention that FREEVIEW as a system up date every night, So it's impossible to record programmes on  a conventional VHS machine through the FREEVIEW.

Talking over the end credits
It is an   unfortunate  reality that television audiences fall dramatically when credits start to roll and in the increasingly competitive multi-channel environment, all channels are under pressure to retain viewers.  We have to use every opportunity at our disposal to let our viewers know what is on offer in subsequent schedules.  An announcement over the end credits ( Why bother with credits or theme tunes ) of a programme is an effective means of keeping our viewers informed and reduces the likelihood of their switching over.  ( Everybody I have spoken to about this matter , Hates the credits being talked over.  )  When we do schedule announcements during credits, we try to ensure that they are appropriate to the programme and remain sensitive to the context of the programme or film’s ending.
